      This Redmi band is rubbish quality, touch screen is not sensitive, use a crappy app instead of Mi Fit, and the button is the shittiest one, I can't put in in. I will never buy this Redmi crap, better buy a proper Mi band one. My Mi Band 1 strap is very easily fit in not like this crap.

      hmmm maybe there's variance in the production output

      I received mine on Friday and I thought I would just give it to the kids, but I like it more than my current Mi Band 4, so I did the other way around, now 4C is my daily driver, and kids are playing with Band 4 :)

      works fine for me so far, no issues. app is fine, screen is fine (nice colors), yeah not as bright as Mi Band 4, but I haven't had issues reading time. there are good themes in the store, and it does all I need.

      Mi Band 4 screen is too narrow, this is easier to read for me. so YMMV, but anyway I can't fault it yet

      except for the fact that when I plug it into a charger, it starts yelling at me in Chinese. but looking at power consumption, I it shouldn't need charging all too often

      Yeah it was very frustrating, it means I have to wear it rather loose. I thought it was because this band is cheap, but it looks like Xiaomi's bands all use the same design?

    If you're having trouble pairing your band there are three things I found for pairing to my Pixel 5:

    • Scan the QR code and install that app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xiaomi.wea… not the Mi Fit one
    • Don't pair it to your phone manually, it should not show up in the devices in the Bluetooth menu
    • If you still can't pair, you can factory reset by long-pressing the button (the dash at the bottom of the screen)

        Sorry my bad, just realised this is the cut-down version of Redmi Band and you can only connect using this app for the Redmi band not the Mi Fit app.

        The button of the strap can't be pushed into the hole… I can't believe Xiaomi made these rubbish products.

    Just tried on the Mi Band, absolute garbage as the hole on the strap is too small so I can’t even strap it on. Might need to cut it a little

    How do you pair this with an iphone? There's no option for MI Band 4C?

    EDIT: For iphone, click settings at the top right, change region to Australia. Even though I clicked Australia when signing up to a Mi account….
    Smart Band 4C then shows up on devices
