Free Boost Juice of Any Size for People with The 2 Names Drawn Each Day (App & Vibe Membership Required) @ Boost Juice

230

Boost What's Your Name Game is back. This time you need to use their app and register as a Boost Vibe member (free to join).

They will select 2 random first names from all Boost Vibe members each day at 6pm (announced on the app and on their social media pages). Members who have that first name on their registration will be able to claim a free Boost Juice of any size from a participating Boost Juice store in Australia. The Free Boost must be claimed and redeemed in the 24 hours following the announcement.

In order to redeem the coupon and claim the free Boost, entrants must ensure that the email used to register their account has been verified. If the email address has not been verified, the coupon for the free Boost cannot be redeemed. You may also need you ID, but most likely your registration details should be enough (they probably mention this to stop people creating accounts in different names to try to scam multiple drinks).

The prize is one free Boost Juice smoothie, crush or juice (of any size) from the current Boost Juice menu, made in accordance with the standard recipe. Additional charges will apply for extra ingredients, including fruit or Boosters, added to the smoothie, crush or juice. The following products are not eligible as the Free Boost: Choc Muscle Hustle; Protein Supreme; Power Plant Protein; and Pure Eden.

Draw: computerised random selection – 06:00 pm AEST, on 16/05/21, 17/05/2021, 18/05/2021, 19/05/2021, 20/05/2021, 21/05/2021, 24/05/2021, 25/05/2021, 26/05/2021 and 27/05/2021

  • As someone who's never tried Boost, are these like KFC's where some Boost places are good and some places are bad?

    • No they're all the same - they have to use the same ingredient quantities

      • That is the same as all fast food joints.
Each KFC outlet aren't just making up their own herbs and spices mix

        • +3

Not really. Frying up chicken has many more variables than scooping preset qty of ingredients into a blender and flicking a switch.

Also, most KFC chicken is cooked prior to people's orders, while that's obviously impossible for something like Boost.

    • Yeah in my experience the consistency is a hit & miss between different stores.

  • +8

Time to change my first name to David

    • +7

Since my longass ethnic name has 0% chance of getting selected…. David it is

      • +3

I wonder if anyone called Abcde is registered….

  • +4

So anyone with a foreign name are excluded.

    • +1

No, not excluded. If you registered with that name then you have a (small) chance.

They will select 2 random first names from all Boost Vibe members

    • +5

Boost Juice would go broke if they announced 'Mohammed'.

      • Well doubt there are as many Mohammed as there are Davids and Kates in Australia. It would have been better if they choose the first letter of the first name and last name. That would give everyone an equal chance.

      • +4
    • This is actually the one competition that has announced quite a broad range of foreign names (over a number of years).

There are a lot of 'common white' (not my words!) names that haven't ever been called. Laura is common enough but not so common that they would be overwhelmed, but it hasn't ever been called.

  • +1

If your name is common, higher chance of getting one. Not a common name, lower chance.

    • +6

Depends if it is a random selection of all first names of all members, or a random selection of all unique first names (i.e. no duplicates = only 1 entry for every name).

  • I highly doubt the name Charbel will be chosen.

  • +7

I think again this is a rather weird promotion, Boost is such a young people brand expressing diversity and individuality but then runs this to the benefit of those with a common white name..

    Used to be 3 too

    • Maybe because the young people are already buying and will pay full price?

      • +2

That has nothing to do with what I'm saying??
Young people still have common white names lol it's just not helping their "be an individual, be yourself" mantra by rewarding those that have got standard names and therefore 'punishing' those who have unique names

        • It isn’t clear whether it’s a draw of all registered names or a draw of all unique first names, duplicates removed. If it’s the later unique names are just as likely to be drawn.

I doubt it’s really a random draw anyway, I suspect they’ll choose a mix of gendered/unisex, common/uncommon names and have some culturally diversity in there too. It’s just easier for them to say it’s random.

          • @morse: Hopefully that's the case because in the past the names picked out have been like 90% on the Top 100 Baby Names..
They've been running this from 2009 it seems

  • Time to edit the profile first name every evening they announce the first names every evening

    • Yes, was wondering, is this possible, and would they be able to find out? I think we may still do this, right? Any past experiences ?

      • For sure they would ask for a secondary identification document like a driving license or a debit card with the name on it…

  • +4

    Any love for "Bort"?

  • +3

Wait for the name to be announced then create an account with that name.

    • Then make fake id to match?

    • Yup, that'll work. If ID needed, just ask them to pronounce your real asian first name and say

      "That's why!"

  • yet another reason to curse my mother for giving me such an uncommon spelling for an otherwise relatively common name.

    • +2

From memory previously they allowed different spellings, but if it is linked to your account on the app then they would have to list all the different spellings out so it matched up correctly (and would still miss some people out).

  • Favorite flavour?

  • +2

    Today’s names are….
    1️⃣ Jacob
    2️⃣ Tameka

  • +1

Today's names are Lachlan & Adele - I did it. I finally won one! :D

  • what names on 20th?

  • Sarah and Khalid today (24/5)

  • Luke and Sophie today (26/5)
