What's a troubling is their other site linked to the ABN doesn't mention refurb anywhere on all the systems for sale with similar components and for more in pesos as well….
    good bargain… Frost II
and this one too… The Spire

    • They do mention refurb in the description, but they could be more obvious.

The Frost II is the same price, but just strictly worse. How is that a better bargain? Both the CPU and gpu are worse.

The spire is marginally better for 50% more money. Both seem incomparable at best, worse in all honesty.

Can't comment on the vendor itself, but lots of people have loved thier previous deals, so I'm not sure why people are hating on them now.

Didn't think I needed to put /s at the end as neither are bargains in fact more money for same thing,

If you could pinpoint where a description is located, and specifically the mention of refurbished that'd be great,
as on this product page Frost II (pc browser) I cannot find any mention of products condition.

This is all the text from the product page for that system no refurbished anywhere, and its the same on every systems page essentially.

amazing ultra budget for $700 ?

    you're joking

4th gen i5 with some more junk added to it.
grab the GPU and you could probably get $100 on gumtree for the rest

Like everyone above, link a better option that's performance comparable (no a 1050 ti isn't) and has 12mo warranty (warranty is a pretty good comfort for an older pc). I think i could ebay the parts for about $500 something, but that's with no warranty, and a lot of time spent cobbling it all together.

  • I don’t understand this. A brand new gaming laptop with a gtx 1650 for slightly more surely a better option? Are people so desperate for a desktop gaming pc?

This laptop from a while back is definitely the better option, with a well justified 150 upvotes, however it's a very different product. I haven't upvote this because it's a bit iffy, but the market is what it is. I'm stuck with a laptop with an iGPU because I refuse to pay these stupid prices new GPUs command today.

  • Sell this for $300-400 and you might have a deal

    • I agree considering most parts that matter are second hand.
DDR3 memory in a small form factor is old let alone used in a desktop PC.
