What do you guys recommend for a glasses user? I love the quest but it's annoying how I have to wear my glasses at a certain angle or it'll get very blurry and most of the time, they get all smudgy

    • hey there! I am assuming you are already using the XL glasses spacer right? What head strap are you using at the moment? The standard one in the box or the Oculus branded elite strap? I ask because the elite strap is limited in how you can let it rest over your head and the standard out of the box one is pretty weak in getting any hold.

The Halo strap works well with my partner because she can set the Quest 2 at a different angle instead of mucking around with her glasses, and the extra padding gives more space to play with (she wears glasses too, medium thickness glass / frame).

Let me know if you have any other questions :)

      A pair of contact lenses?

I would get some prescription lenses. I got some for my quest 2. Much more comfortable than having to wear my glasses.

Ah yes, I made the assumption that they wanted to keep their glasses!

@MasterMirage we've heard good things from these guys for prescription lenses - https//vroptician.com/. Sent from overseas so does take a few weeks!

    hey rep
thanks for always offering discounts - previously bought audio trip
i have a flat asian nose and i can see a gap between the bridge of my nose and the facial cover - any suggestions for new facial covers?

    • No worries. Our pleasure to offer us Aussies some real local support and items!

What do you use at the moment as your facial cover?

      • the default one…
i ordered the elite strap when it first came out but it never got delivered so they just refunded me. Didn't know I could replace the facial cover too haha

        • Ah yes, the default one doesn't stop any light! and makes you a sweaty mess! The VR Comfort Kit we have comes with two different size nose guards (small and large), so you can choose whichever suits you the best (I use the larger nose guard, pretty much blocks outside light during games). Kit comes with two soft PU leather facial replacement as well - so should minimise the sweat being collected over the foam one you currently and be more comfortable overall as well.

Alternatively, you can also get a silicone face cover too (VR Adventure Face Cover). The cover goes over your existing foam interface, but the nose guard on it is a bit smaller in terms of the nose guard (in comparison to the VR Comfort Kit).

Let us know if you have any more questions :)

          Hope you're enjoying Audio Trip!
