  Sorry for newbie question. What's the benefit of getting this one vs the basic vitality that I have other than functions and battery life? I'm not sure if I should do an upgrade.

    Pro 2500 vs Basic Vitality:
    - Pro 2500 has a much longer battery life
    - Rotating speed is consistent in pro-2500 (same speed when the battery is full and the battery not full), while with the basic one, I feel that it rotates faster when the battery is full, and gradually decreases in the following days.

    All other differences are minor for me.

    Because of this, I just bought one Pro-1500 from Woolworths ($65) for my kid.

      Ahhh thanks! Hmmm…seems like the upgrade is minor-ish for me to get a better one. I dont mind the battery life cause I have it charged all the time so, the rotation speed is negligible then? Wanted to upgrade for non-gimmicky reasons lol

  i myself just got one..

  lets see,

  1. it connects to your phone to tell you your brushing habits
  2. There is a pressure sensor to tell you that you might be pressing too hard
  3. There are different modes to choose from to allow you to select intensity
  4. the charger is the same but there is an additional base accessory to allow you to put to brush heads (read: share with someone else) instead of having them lie on the toilet sinktop
  5. the battery is purportedly longer but havent really pushed it to its limit yet
  6. slightly more premium finish
  7. it vibrates every 30 seconds to tell you when to switch to another part of the mouth. (the vitality also does vibrate but only after 2 mins). this one also has a longer vibration at the 2 min mark

  thats all ive experienced
