I like the idea and probably would fit the target demographics (168cm) but the cuttings don't seem that flattering. Just looking at the model shots, it still looks incorrectly proportioned :\

Hemming jeans and chinos is not the same as them being properly designed for a shorter length.
Few issues you get with simply hemming the pants is large leg opening, incorrect seat/rise, rear pockets that sit too far down the bum.
at the shopping centres like chadstone, southland , alterations like taking up jeans are $20, also if it’s the right size you don’t need to drop off and pick up later …..just go home and enjoy.
can always just go to uniqlo and buy any pants >$30, and get free alteration.
