When I click the link it says 'Sorry, we couldn't find the page you're looking for'. Anyone else?

  • Is it good for a g&t?

      yes

Is it good for a g&t?

Hell no! You don't ruin this juice with tonic water. Ice is all you need.

        • +1

it is nice on the rocks.

But it's also very nice with a decent tonic.
I'd rather have it neat then with say a generic or Schweppes tonic.

@M00Cow: My first time trying Roku, and I had to come back to say I don't ever want to mix this again. It's magnificent neat. Tonic is just too overpowering. Will pick up a cheaper gin to mix.

            • @muwu: excellent! it really is value for money.
I had some neat last night and thought, wow this really is great, it doesn't need the tonic to enhance. But each to their own.

    • oh yes. this stuff is one of my favs

    • Tonic (bitter and sweet) ruins the gin flavours, better off just using soda water.

Very much so - don't listen to the gin wanks below telling you you can't mix it, it's not a $200 scotch.

I like it with fevertree mediterranean, and then cut up some slivers of fresh ginger to throw in there as well.

  • Never had this before. Can someone describe how this tastes?

ROKU GIN - Unparalleled soft, round and subtly sweet taste.
Nose : Cherry blossom and green tea provide a floral and sweet aroma.
Palate : Complex, multi layered, yet harmonious flavour of various botanicals. Traditional gin taste in the base, plus characteristic Japanese botanical notes with yuzu as the top note. Smooth and silky texture.
Finish : The crisp Japanese sansho pepper brings a little spiciness to the finish.

do yourself a favour and grab some. this is a fav

In simple terms, it's very refreshing. Thats subjective of course.

Probably best to try it out somewhere, buy one glass if you don't like you wouldn't of wasted $$$ on a bottle you will never drink.

In saying that ask for that specific gin, Gordon's & Bombay's are not nice gins imo

fml..why did i move from NSW to SA.

    • Do they not sell it there?

    • Cos SA is a much better place to live.

Highly recommend this Gin. One of the best in my opinion.

    • Agree, love the subtle spice!
Tho my always go to is Bombay Sapphire, that juice..

  • After drinking Four Pillars, I've found it hard to enjoy other brands. How's this go in comparison with 4P Rare Dry?

  • I like this gin but not the best for the money IMO. I still reckon ALDI's bog standard gin for under $30 is the go. They recently had a special on their UK version which is even better.

    • Next time it's on special can you post on ozb, Ive heard good things about 4P, wouldn't mind given it a crack

    • Wait… what's the ALDI gin? Is it Darley's? (https://www.aldi.com.au/en/groceries/liquor/spirits/spirits-…)

      • I'm pretty sure it's darleys

      • That's the one and it's made in Australia. The Aldi UK gin is called Oliver Cromwell and is fantastic value for money.

Hot damn. I ordered from two Coles, in case one got cancelled, and now I have two bottles.
Tried tonight during Eurovision and I am definitely keeping them both.
It's fresh, light and really well blended.
I can see why everyone rates it.
