  • Also, the "Seriously Digital Edition" of this game (which includes some DLC, soundtrack etc.) is $16.99: http://www.getgamesgo.com/product/serious-sam-3-bfe-seriousl…

EDIT: The "Seriously Digital Edition" is actually only US$13.59 when put in the basket - possibly because the "standard" edition in the OP seems to be sold out.

  • Apparently, some of the keys are bad. They are giving out SS HD: The Second Encounter. http://www.steamgifts.com/forum/cYr9m/whatthehell

They have previously been known to give out invalid codes in the past. So purchase at your own risk.

    • Worked fine for me.

    • They sent out the wrong codes for the first 30-40 minutes before disabling purchasing the game, then they had it sorted 15 mins later and told purchasers that received the HD keys that they'd send them the SS3 keys within 24 hours and could keep the HD keys for the trouble.

The people on SteamGifts are just whining whingers. Anything that isn't Steam itself, they hate. Just go take a look at some of the other threads on the forum about other reseller sites like GMG or GamersGate or even alternative services like Origin. It's just hate, hate, hate. Once one person has had a bad experience with something (even if it was their own fault) and they post a thread about it, everyone else just jumps on the bandwagon and complains. It's ridiculous.

  • Also worked for me. Had to use credit card since it won't let me use Paypal though.
Wish I had waited and gotten the deluxe edition. Just that last time it sold out in a matter of hours.

  • Just bought the seriously digital edition. Worked for me, downloading it now :)
