  Not one of their greatest but a few solid tracks. Not enough to buy on vinyl but if I wanted to that's a great price!

  For a band I used to love, that month or two where Spotify would insist on slotting another song from this album into my Release Radar was painful.

  You have to understand that the Foo Fighters are a very talented group of musicians.

  There's no doubt in my mind that the older albums are superior and the newer stuff is a bit meh.

  However; you've gotta take it for what it is. I'd classify them as generic rock which some people don't like.

  To say they're the worst band ever is ridiculous though, but i guess everyone is entitled to their opinions.

  Edit: $20 shipped for what is a good master of any album is a steal. Thanks for the share OP. Going in blind as I've only heard one of the new songs and wasn't a fan.

    It's the same with most pop music - it doesn't have to be great, it only needs just enough appeal for a broad enough group of people; no one particularly loves it, but loads of people can like it and can bond over it.

  This arrived for me today.

  I HAD to clean it with my Vinyl Styl (please don't use the included fluid). It was covered in tiny pieces of paper from the sleeve.

  Other then that it honestly sounds amazing, especially for a newly released record.

  Unfortunately I don't hate it, but I don't love the album thus far and their older stuff is definetly better.

  For reference I received this version with similar reports of it sounding great.

    If you haven't been listening to much 'new' FF, you really should check out Wasting Light (far out, I just checked and it's 10 years old now!)… That was such a great album after a string of mildly ok ones.
