      I use it myself. Haven't had any issues by turning it on overnight and directly plugged onto a powerboard.

      Most of the times, I set a timer of 3 - 4 hours and switch it off automatically.

    I got mine too. No luck trying to control this with MI Xiaomi app. I doesn’t exist in the app unless you change the serve to china in which case I lose my previous devices. Remote control is in Chinese. Rep should clarify this in the description
