  • Review is 4.8 out of 5 and I think this better than the ALDI one which is 49.99 with one Year Warranty.

    • Honestly I wouldn't even bother with this. check out this one at Kogan. It is cheaper and so so much better. I have had it for six months and I am still amazed it only cost me $50.

      • I was about to buy this but apparently not good when monitors/desk are against a wall?

        • Would probably require about 10cm-ish of distance between the wall depending on how you have it set up.

  • I've been looking at these monitor stands but I'm worried the clamp will destroy my Ikea table.

    • mine one did, which looks similar to this.

      • Yeah I don't care too much about the table (not expensive) but just the fact that I would have to get a new one is just extra fuss I don't care to deal with

    • +3

I have 2 of the North Bayou monitor arms on my laminate desk. They key is to place a decent sized block of wood underneath the clamp to distribute the weight over a bigger area.

Although unnoticeable on the underside of the desk, I will at some point replace these bits of wood with a narrow metal sheet so it looks a bit neater.

  • Would this work if the table edge is rounded?

    • With out knowing the width of the desk, material of the top, etc… it would likely work although as someone else suggested decent block of wood under the spread load as you would want to make sure it is very tight.

  • Does anyone know if this will mount sufficiently on a Zenspace Sit Stand Rubberwood desk?
