just grab the 2721dgf, pretty sure same panel and is on sale regularly for a cheaper price
When I found this out it basically discounted the LG as an option for me as it was overpriced in comparison

Got this for $700 prior to the pandemic, I'm almost considering this as a second monitor.
tempting, but I'm waiting to see what these next gen mini-LEDs will do to blow my mind.
Dell S2721DGF is just as good HOWEVER the LG EDID allows 4K input for downscaling 4K content to 1440p. The Dell can technically downscale 4K but the EDID doesn't let you input 4K natively - you need an EDID emulator.

Great monitor, got it last year amidst the early days of COVID and paid much more. Colour, G-Sync, brightness or viewing angles all great.
But that new Dell 27" that's always on sale is probably better value as it's regularly on sale for much cheaper with the same specs.
