I'll wait and see with this one, didn't buy anything during the previous one. Hence, I can't give it a positive because as ye,t there's no deal.

Sweet….lots of cupcake books coming up! >.<

  • do the offers only stay up for an hour or they stay up until Friday 3rd feb ?

    • The answers are on the link.

" These offers are known as WIGIGs in the trade (When It's Gone It's Gone) - after the hour is over you'll often be able to buy the book again but at the normal price."

  • Can anyone comment as to the savings from the previous 24 hour sale?

    • +3

The savings were okay but they were only on particular books - most of which weren't my taste at all. It's not like they discount a whole genre or anything. Not that great all up; booko.com.au for the win when it comes to finding the cheapest books!

      • Yes I use booko now religiously after finding it on Ozbargain.

  • I will give this a +ve
Understand the comments about the range and might not suit taste
But these are def bargains especially when you remember BD.uk do free shipping
Lots of stuff here on OB I don't want to buy - but someone does and a bargain is a bargain

Book Depository doesn't really do free shipping — it's built into the price. If you view the site from Australia, the prices will be higher than if you view from the UK (unless this has changed since this time last year)

I guess by 'free' I meant not an additional cost
It's cool that there is no hidden or inflated shipping costs
I didn't know they had locational pricing but makes sense that the cost inc shpping cost is cheaper to UK than here

      • The last couple of orders I've done, I've checked whether the price differences still exist for UK versus Australia viewing and the UK ones have been equal price or higher (in one case £9) than the Australian ones. Odd. Anyone else found this?

  • Lots of good deals last time so + from me despite not picking anything up last time.

I'd rather they just sent out a 10% off coupon having to constantly check back to see what's on sale blows.
If the Hunger games or its trilogy comes up let me know, Thanks ;)

    • Or just wait for the movies. If they're anything like Twilight, the movies will be better.

Just jokes, Hunger games is nothing like Twilight. This trilogy is actually well written and interesting.

      • I've read the trilogy and loved it and I'm hoping the movies live up to the books.
This set is for a friend

        • Only disliked the 3rd book in the series…But otherwise it was a fantastic read overal.
