      Subjective question! However, based on what most people like in their milk drinks - low acidity with some choc and nutty notes I'd say yes :)

    Just finished my Padre Wild Child from my order a few weeks back.

    Two things to say about that blend:

    1) That was probably the most demanding to pull coffee I’ve ever had. Recipe said 22.5 g coffee extracted to 36 g over 36 seconds. Dialling that in required adjustment on a shot to shot basis.

    2) When within reasonable parameters (say, up to a 1:2 extraction ratio) it was a terrific coffee to have with milk. Multi-layered with nice depth and something I looked forward to every morning. I’m on Brewhouse’s House Blend this week (recent deal on OzB)) which is a truly flat and boring coffee in comparison. But so much easier to pull!

    I would buy another kg of Wild Child in a heartbeat - but certainly not for its usual going rate of almost $50/kg. Add another $10 and you’re already at 2 kg delivered from Manna Beans. Yes, I would rate Wild Child higher than most beans I had from Manna - but it’s also more expensive and, well, there’s quite a few shots that just don’t turn out within the sweet spot.

    Anyway: waiting for another special on those Padre beans now. Recommendations for similarly exciting beans/blends are always welcome.

        I'd say medium amount - pleasantly cut through milk but not domineering the experience. I didn't have it black, so can't comment on that.

      Thanks for the detailed review :) Mmm can be such a bugger dialling in these coffees with tighter parameters - but I'm so glad those shots that hit the mark were worth it :)
