OP it would have been useful if you had posted a couple of examples which show prices lower than other places, which would then make it a bargain

    Not that cheap, some prices:
Catan base $67.16 (been around $45 recently)
    Azul $60.76
Pandemic $53.56 (currently $40 on Amazon)

according to Board Game Oracle there are heaps of games hitting current lows at Milsims atm:

Xia: Legends of a Drift System
      Takenoko
      Cuba Libre
      Sidereal Confluence Remastered
      7 Wonders
      The Gallerist
      Archipelago

list goes on, I would suggest checking over there. Not much point pointing at three of the most mass-marketed and popular games of the last 15 years and saying there aren't any good deals available.

Was just about to post there same thing.
Catan is currently $49 @ BigW

The pricing is pretty weird, almost like it's converting from another currency

  • 7 Wonders - Duel for $38.36 is a decent price.

$35 at Amazon; free postage if you have prime; free prime trial if you dont

  • milsims used to be one of the cheapest available but nowadays I probably wouldn't consider their storefront to be easy enough to draw new customers in and as others have noted, other stores have can match or beat their pricing on any given normal day already. It's convenient to be able to drop by and grab something to play on a whim but otherwise am happy to wait for free shipping and plan ahead a bit when it comes to acquiring new games.

Did they retain the warehouse in Clayton area? I haven't visited the new store since they moved/expanded

    • From memory Milsims was sold to another board games store, can't remember which one. And they continued to use the Milsims name and website. Hasn't been the same since.

      • I think it was Joe Dodgy's
