  • Is this a good drop

    • Read the reviews on Dan Murphy's website. Unless you trust ozbargain reviews better.

It's only going on sale recently because of the high tariffs in China. Before that, they wouldn't even care about the Australian market

      Bingo
Penfolds treat australian wine drinkers like crap while dumping bulk amounts in china

    • TWE have had smaller vintages prior to 2021 vintage.
2021 they increased their vintage intake in premium Australian regions to my knowledge.
Whilst they were going well in China, they had had other markets on short supply. TWE over-supply not as big a problem as many believe. This promotion is likely just part of the usual sales/discounting cycle.
      RD :-)

  • This is the standard price on Amazon. Not bad for $10 though

I got a bottle for under $10 at Costco last weekend.. hmm

    • Agree with heRyDr…

went to Ringwood Costco past weekend and they had two pallets worth for $10

  • These are ok
Dont get suckered in by the name
They are a $14 wine, but nothing more.

There bin's and granges are lightyears ahead of this.

    Might benefit from cellaring though

  • +4

Give it 3 to 5 years cellaring and you will be very pleased with your bang for $.

Also consider the Wynns to buy and give a few years of cellaring.

    Plus free shipping on Prime.

    • Been telling myself I gotta cellar my wines. Turn out I never stock enough for "cellaring"
