Alkina Stonefire Shiraz 2024 & 5,300 Qantas Points for $100 | Wine & 5,150 Points with Points Club Voucher for $50 @ Qantas Wine

440

Make sure you activate this deal first to get 10 bonus status credits to sweeten the deal further.

Might not be for everyone but a good way to use your Points Club voucher (if you have one) without too much of an outlay while still getting excellent value (especially after the voucher).

If you’re Points Club and have the $50 Qantas Wine voucher:

Apply the code at checkout

Price drops to $50

Points only drop slightly to ~5,150

That’s ~103 pts per $1 actually spent (0.99 cents per point), which is much better than the previous 6-pack deal ($549 for 30,000 points) which was 1.64 cents per point with the voucher.

Without the voucher it’s still ~53 pts per $1 ($100 for ~5,300 points), which is already strong though may not be worth it for some.

Yes, the $100 “RRP” is inflated / “exclusive to Qantas Wine”. More likely about a $55 bottle of wine. The play here is buying cheap Qantas Points, not wine value. Screenshot checkout before paying in case the points don’t auto-credit.

I found I have to use incognito mode for this and QF shopping. Not sure why

    • I have been experiencing issues with Qantas marketplace all day.

  • +4

Had the voucher and PCP so $40 for the bottle delivered, plus 5,120 FF points.

Bonus: This should also tick the ‘Earn SC on the ground’ campaign for a bonus 10 Status Credits!

    Cheers OP.

    • I completely forgot that the bonus status credits is the reason I was looking for a use for my wine voucher to begin with. Thanks for the reminder that I should get the status credits too!

      • Worth adding to the post I think as it’s guaranteed as long as people click the link to register for the promo prior to purchasing the wine.

        • Good call, I will go find that deal to stick in the post.

    • For $50 and 50 SC + 5150 points, I'll take that.
      Thanks OP & Pelicann!

      • Only 10SC not 50.

        • +1

DOH. Typo. Yes, only 10SC. Thanks.

  • Is that $100/$50 for 1 bottle?

      Yes

$40 with Points club plus and $50 voucher.

    Good score.

  • Thanks OP

  • Good timing, just qualified for PCP. Got this deal to celebrate! Gotta find a good hotel deal now. Any tips from experienced PCP members?

Cheers OP - This is better than leaving the voucher unused…

  • Is there not a min $150 spend on that voucher? Did there used to be or did I imagine that and waste them for years?

    • Not sure actually but definitely works on this.

    • +2

Never been a min spend as far as I have known.

I used them back in March for a $63 bottle that I paid $13 delivered for.

  • Thanks OP. No voucher but will using FIRSTORDER give another 5k points? So 10k points in total?

    • Yes. You can only apply one code at a time anyway. Since you don't have a voucher you'll have to pay the full amount but you get the first order bonus points.

      • Amazing thanks for confirming. Also rang Qantas Wine and they confirmed the same in case anyone else was curious

  • Thanks for posting i would otherwise forget voucher and pcp status offer.

  • thanks OP. Got one and used the voucher too (didnt even know I had it)

  • Had an old $50 voucher, but got an error on order, still have a pending $40 charge on my credit card though. For those that are wondering, not all $50 Qantas Wine vouchers will work, the newer issued ones have a min $150 purchase limit to work.
