yep, I did that afterwards and it was applied correctly as well. Looks like we just have to use "new listing" option to be on the safe side.

well you can somewhat lean on the T&Cs page which mentions buying insurance during that period would be eligible.

Honestly just buy it. If the discount comes around, you can always just buy it again and return using old receipt to get the savings.
