Hi guys, I've just started using a Bissell carpet cleaner. Does anyone have any recommendations for cheap alternates to the Bissell cleaning formula? Thanks in advance :)

Have been using this DIY solution for awhile, works grat on my Bissell machine. Now only costs a few bucks per bottle instead of 20.
Are you using in in the Bissell spot clean? Would have thought with the detergents in it that it would foam up.

Harvey norman usually have it cheaper than anyone else strangely. I have a rule, whoever borrows the machine buys a bottle as renting fee.
Sometime I add a bit of Canesten antibacterical laundry liquid, which makes no foam and helps fighting smells in winter months when it takes long time to dry
