    Comes to $553 if you are lucky to be near a store with stock. Resell value for these are good as well, you'd be able to sell it for $500 down the track.

  Good deal, as ultimate him 15% off gift card @WW pays for the $99, 240v mains cable. Pretty much a necessity as it's pretty useful to especially Precool -15°C before an expedition to the Tropics

        yes. I have had it running my $250 Evakool for few weeks non stop now.
        no need for it on my Engel as I have a 240v model (but it would work without problem)

    Shame that the onboard 240v has been dropped on this. If you're setup with enough solar and batteries you could pretty much have it running all the time. Obviously depends on the use case.

    Better off spending your $99 on a ctek or projecta charger with power supply mode. At least then it will do more than 1 thing in your life.

    There are certainly cheaper options. Brass Monkey is probably the best value given that it has a 3 year warranty. In saying all this Engel has a pretty solid track record, these fridges will run for 10+ years.

  Great deal given that Engels are rarely on special. I have 2 Engels and swear by them (one is a small one, and another is a larger one).

  Be mindful to cover them under a blanket or something as this fridge is extremely attractive to thieves.
