KFC just launched their Pokemon like game, you can go hunting KFC prizes and most likely get a free ultimate box for your first time, some got slushies etc :)

    Tip: To make flip the coin work don't pick heads or tails until 5 seconds after a coin loads onto to black background. once you pick heads or tails don't click anything just let the coin continue to flip.

    Just successfully redeemed my free 15pc bucket (3 boxes of 5 pieces each apparently) while guy in front of me had to get the manager for their order (unknown).

    So I've had KFC 2 days in row from my bucket stash and each time redeemed and completed order, selected drive through, you then click to when your at the speaker, give them your order no. all smooth until you get to the last window and even though your orders right there, they seem confused………whats your order no.? Whats your name? Was it an online order? Did the person at the first window send you here? However, my first redeem is currently still sitting in my stash counting down so guess I'll be having another free double tender burger later on :)

    Has anyone been able to work out "how and where" do the buckets appear? As per their T&Cs, buckets will appear in "populated areas" or "near KFC restaurants". For the former, sometimes, I see a bucket and when I go to the place, it appears, as if it is inside a restaurant. One I had got a bucket inside Macca's :P Its easy to enter a Macca's, but sometimes they're inside a premium restaurant, or a proper dine-in place, like Nando's, Vapiano, etc. So close, but just cant get in to claim the bucket.

    Still don't quite understand how the redemption deadline and expiry works. Tried to redeem a deal last night and ended up not going through with it cos I was having the same issue as a lot of the previous commenters here where it was still trying to charge me the full amount at the very last step. Took another look at it this morning and even though the pending redemption message is gone it's now replaced with the "hold ya horses" one and it seems like I won't be able to redeem anything today either? Even though I haven't redeemed or ordered anything yet??

      Should reset 2:30pm today. Try other stores if the discount doesn't apply

        Yeah I tried about 3 stores around me and none applied the required discount at checkout. I guess I'm confused then since why didn't it show the 'hold ya horses' message last night even though I restarted the app several times trying to fix the charging issue? Did it simply tick over upon midnight or something even though I hadn't actually redeemed anything?

        EDIT: I guess my point is if it's gonna lock me out until 2:30pm then at least it should let me finish redeeming my deal first ….

          Sadly the timer for "24 hours" or "2:30PM" starts when you click on "Redeem" in your Bucket Stash, irrespective of you actually completing the order or not. So if you decided to redeem, say a Zinger Burger but at Checkout changed your mind and wanted to go back and choose your other prize, say, Chicken Popcorn, you are locked out. You will neither get your burger nor the popcorn on that day. And you will have to wait again till 2:30PM to claim the next prize.

            @djoz: I'm ok with having lockout timers but the app's main shitshow for me is the whole still charging for the free item. For some reason it didn't try to lock me out last night when I added then deleted the stash in my cart multiple times trying to get it to work (on top of restarting the app and logging in and out before I eventually gave up) but then I guess this morning's a new day so it reckons I must have already redeemed it by now or something.

    Does anyone know how to remove the email verification every time I log into my KFC account on the app?

    My partner sometimes swings by KFC on the way home and if I have a nice freebie, she logs into my account and I have to keep waiting for the email verification to come through.

      The app downloads a JSON file off the server that contains a key to force email verification. So unfortunately no, not unless you know your way around the contents of a decompiled app.

        What's the best thing you've won?
        I've got an Ultimate box. Pretty over the freeze, chips, slider, go buckets etc. Not worth my time trekking to KFC to claim it, only if you were already there getting something.

                Prizes will be awarded throughout the Competition Period in such a way as to ensure that approximately constant ratios of the different prize types listed below are given away throughout the Competition Period.

                So everything should be available at all times technically

          Anything less than a Zinger gets flipped and either disappears or becomes something worse lol

      Often there will be heaps near the KFC's (I guess to get people to the area and eventually in to the store) but the map doesn't seem to load buckets when you just scan around. They take a while to pop up.

    Thought this was pretty interesting in the T's & C's

    The Promoter will monitor the rate of virtual buckets being revealed throughout the Competition Period to ensure the prize pool lasts until the end of the Competition Period. If the rate of virtual buckets being revealed is at any stage projected to exceed the total prize pool available, the Promoter may vary the location, timing and number of bucket pins in each set so as to contain the rate of virtual buckets being revealed and to ensure that the total prize pool is not exceeded.

    The Promoter will also monitor the virtual buckets being revealed throughout the Competition Period to ensure that the number of each type of food prize being won in that proximity is not such that redemption of the food prizes within the immediately following period might cause that store to run low on stocks of the relevant food items. In that event the Promoter may vary the location, timing and number of bucket pins in each set so as to contain likely demand for food items at the relevant store.

    So if spoofers are smashing one area, there will be less buckets there but by the sounds you might end up increasing the odds of winning something better once you get rid of all the same prizes?

      Claimed my first one tonight, an Ultimate box. Ordered in the app like normal, nothing to pay at checkout. No issues at all.

      I thought the only issue was with the 15pc as it's not a regular menu item?

        My local restaurant charges me full price for any prize item at checkout. If I pick some other restaurants it shows as free, but they are too far away. Based on comments it's a common problem. I had an ultimate box but it has expired now as I couldn't claim it.

          Yes but if you flip a freeze it's 50/50 you either get something better or retain your prize. Hence 0% chance of loss

          With a 15pc bucket you've got a "50/50" chance (somehow I've lost like 80% of flips) of losing your 15pc bucket for a freeze or chips so certainly a lot riskier

          I agree with whitelie, I think the coin is coded to flip positive more on lower value items.

      If you delete an account and sign up again with the same details you get the first reward again straight away. Previous stash is still there but swapping didnt work when there are more than 3 stashed.

    Map is so slow and laggy. Trying to collect anything is very difficult. Half the time the map doesn't load or if you are directly under a bucket or even in a store most of the time nothing even comes up.

    When I went to redeem, it says 'processing' but was charged the full price, even though it says applies at checkout.

    The monopoly experience was alot better.

      Appears to be a bug specific to ur case. The app is very very buggy as reported by several users. Also, I'm not finding any buckets to spin today. There were lots on 15, 16, 17 June.
