    I saw the PS3 and genuinely thought it was the sandwich press this post was for. Turns out it was a PS3 and this post was for a toaster too. Wrong on both accounts :(

  I've given this a postive, because it is a great price, however there is a big "BUT"…

  When in store, I saw this deal and was tempted to buy it. I did a quick search at productreview dot com and found that it got overwhelmingly bad reviews - averaging only 2.1 out of 5 stars according to 15 reviewers. Main problem appeared to be consistently uneven cooking - that is, one side burnt, one side of the toast uncooked.

  FYI, I ended up buying the Morphy Richards Accent toaster which they also had on sale for $46 - also reduced from $80. It's only 2 slices, but it got an average of 5 stars from 3 reviews at PR dot com.
