50c Big Mac’s are on offer at McDonald’s on Friday June 18 to celebrate McDonald’s 50 Year Anniversary of being in Australia. Was announced on the Today Show by the Macca’s CEO. Offer is nationwide, but requires the MyMacca’s App to redeem, either by ordering through the app or by showing the reward code to staff / entering it at a kiosk. One 50c Big Mac per account and 500,000 are available at the discounted price. They are normally $6.35 each at my local.

It’s also mentioned that more promotions and special orders will be coming during the next few weeks as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations.

      Junk, at least they're one of the only chains that actually tells you the ingredients. Where's your restaurants' list of ingredients? Or other junk places? Macca's at least lists the poisons.

    In order to not miss out (idk how quick 500k will go) can we make the order in the app. And then pick it up hours later? They only start once you rock up and give the code right?

      Yes, you can use the app to order now and pick up later and it will already have the amount as $0.50. They only start making your order when you tell them you're there and won't charge your card until then, so also no biggie if you don't pick it up.

    I remember when it's free,or around this price (I can't remember) that they also restricted the numbers of the bigmacs but when I was at one of the store at around 6 pm, they were still available

        I do this quite regularly with 2 accounts. You pay through the app so I don't think they can refuse you. Staff at the physical stores have no control over the app or ability to perform refunds thorugh the app afaik. Even if they could, it's not worth their time.

      Bought another 2, had to log out of one account and back in to the other though to get the second one scanned, screenied code of it wasn't working even though it had been under 15 mins. 5 total for the day, not a bad haul.

      Only problem I see is the famous monster queue the runner has to go through each time lol .
      Also the QR code changes after a short time so make sure fresh each time when ordering .

    I went to a pretty quiet store around 9 - 10am. There was a manager on the front counter. He started getting wise after I ordered 3 macs (wanted to know if my app had the ability to use the code multiple times, wanted to see my app). I also saw what looked like an Area manager from maccas (an older person in casual clothes, talking to the manager behind the counter).

    I was going to get 4. Had to stop at 3 lol.

    6.30 PM I drove past my local Macca's and it had traffic from hell queued up .
    Why in the hell would people wait in that for what $3 ( I value em about $3.50 ) hehe .
    Give me 3 Free Big Macs I wouldn't take the job of going through that .
