      However, i haven't tried any of the usb ports in this hub yet to see if there's a similar issue to what the reviews said on this haribol product. USB drive needs to be formatted to FAT32 as i understand. Ethernet works fine though.

      Separate sound issue that i had.
      Initially i had daisy chained a 100w laptop dock to power the vava unit for testing purposes. I was getting no sound on the TV. Turns out the laptop dock had a a headphone jack causing the chromecast to route the audio to that port. Needed to turn off usb audio routing in the cc developer settings.

      This is what i had to do in the chromecast.
      Settings > System > Developer Options > Scroll down to disable USB audio routing.

    Not enough bandwidth. You need a Thunderbolt dock for dual 4K.
