  • been looking at these for a while but haven't been able to go into the store to check their weight.

anyone able to confirm how heavy they are?

    • +1

Heavy enough that you’ll be happy it has wheels if you put 2 rifles in there.

  • I might be able to fit 2 x Midi controllers in there?

  • +2

fits AR15 without mag plugged in but the arm support must be folded or removed

☺ A lot of the reviews mention it is good for gun storage.

      • These are lawful in every state to store firearms for transportation. They have two padlock lugs so can be locked. Please make sure that the case is locked, is not in plain view and that the vehicle itself is locked. Ammunition and bolt (if equipped with a removable one) must be stored in a separate locked container (glove compartment or under tray tool box works for me).

I use one of the padlock points to fix the case to the chassis of my ute (behind the back seats, out of sight).

        • Locked case is not required to transport Cat A & B firearms in NSW if you're in the vehicle, only need locked ammo box.

Yeah, these are great for gun storage. Easily fits a couple of scoped .308s for safe transport on flights, and in general.

    • How did you get a cat D licence?

  • Probably overkill for a 3/8" ratchet but for this price you'd be mad not to.

  • Does anyone know the weight of this case?

  • Thanks!

Quite heavy, adding extra 10kg to a rifle. Castor wheels are very handy btw.
