Good thinking. Chances are high that one will be either confiscated by ground officials or jammed up your bunghole by an annoyed fan if you take it to a footy stadium where it's not actually banned.

The comment was simple enough, which part went over your head? Here's a simple breakdown
1 They're banned at many venues - for good reasons
2 They can be very annoying to others trying to enjoy their game - esp if overused
3 I know what they're like because I bought one back in the dark ages.
Moral of the story: I have no problem with people buying them, but don't be surprised at the reactions you might get.
