  Be warned that the CPU is fan-less cooling

  I'm not sure that's the downside. Clicking the preinstalled desktop shortcut to go to Google Sheets webapp (from a cold boot) takes an agonizingly long 90 seconds before the Chrome browser opens and loads the webpage. I'd say the passive cooling isn't something you should worry about.

  There's also some preinstalled Acer bloatware too (which shows you some small advertisements promoting Windows store shovelware games in the corner of the display during certain times of the day), which would be the first thing I would remove once you boot up the device.

    In fan-less designs, when it gets too hot, CPU is slowed down to reduce heat.

  I dont know man, I feel like if you need a machine at 300 dollars, a android tablet with one of those case+bluetooth keyboard in one, a cheapass stylus and/or a cheapass mouse would work better and cost just about the same.

    .office 365 bundle is that 12 mths or just 30 days ?
    this vs tablet …this has a real keyboard vs a tablet cover keyboard combo, and it has a touch display …..seems better to me than a chrome book for the same price.

    Yeah, it is a pain. 64GB is barely enough just for Windows 10. The 128GB model is also on sale on Acer's website for $349 (was $599).
