Wow, this must be one of the most unnecessary and expensive pieces of plastic ever.

    • +2

Yeah but did catch the highlighted "Non Scratch Feet"

      Mind Blown!

$20 for a hollow acrylic tube?

    • It's a launch special.

Say no to Amazon dropshippers using Ozbargain for free advertising.

    • Hi WatchNerd,
Thanks for commenting. I agree drop shipping is painful for the customers. I have been caught out myself.

However we are not drop shippers. Just a local Australian business trying to find cool things to sell online. All our stock is stored at the Amazon warehouse, so customers get the products super fast :)

That still doesn't make this a bargain though.

  • +2

$20 for 20 cents worth of plastic tube , probably one of the worst "bargains" Iv'e seen on here for a while.

  • +1

Rather pointless when you have to take them all off every time you want one that's not on the top, unless you like awkwardly stretching them off with both hands. Plus storing other things inside? What better way to get it out than have to tip the whole thing upside down and have everything fall off/out in the process!

So you live here, buy from AliExpress for $10, stick some cheap rubber feet on them and then keep them in a local warehouse to on sell them at double the price?

Nice business model but that doesn't fly around here….

      Hi whitelie,

Thanks for your comment. I understand there is a lot of mistrust with sellers online and many people get inferior products that come from China on the slow boat.

We are actually Australians and live here in Oz, Perth in fact.
We are just a small home run family business trying to find cool things to sell online.

We donโ€™t source from AliExpress. I have had these custom made for our business and have to buy in bulk from manufacturers. It costs us a lot to invest in these purchases.

Shipping at the moment as you may be aware, is astronomical. So these sets costs around AU$11 each to land here.

If I could get them made in Australia, I would. I have tried, but cannot find a manufacturer willing to make them in small quantities for a decent price.

All of our stock is actually stored at Amazon warehouses around the country. So when people buy through Amazon, they get the products delivered quickly, of course depending on where you live.

Amazon charge a postage fee and referral fee, so at the moment at $20, we are only just covering costs. Maybe $1 profit, as the fees are around $7-$8.

Please understand that it is difficult to do business in Australia and we are trying our best., to just make a living online with products we think people will like.

      Thanks
      Mel
