  To anyone interested in these, please read this before ordering.

  "A recent study suggested that blue light-blocking glasses do not improve symptoms of digital eye strain. The American Academy of Ophthalmology does not recommend blue light-blocking glasses because of the lack of scientific evidence that blue light is damaging to the eyes."

  That said, if you just like the look of them then go ahead.

      Their own website does not link to any academic studies, though they do happily refer to them without referencing.

      I'm not saying to not buy, but the marketing for these glasses are always extremely misleading, so I'd like to encourage people to give it a google first and not just look into the marketing.

    I always thought they were because blue light disrupts your circadian rhythm, not because of damage to eyes

  Scientifically proven to be of no real use. Biggest promoters are instagrammers and actors etc. I haven't been able to find any medical journals or studies saying it does work. I also saw an optometrist whom say they arent useful too. If you want to get rid of blue light you can use a warm filter that is usually on your computer or phone (night mode).

  But placebo is also an amazing thing!!

    Blue light 'is not scientifically proven to cause eye-related diseases', however blue light has been proven to cause retinal deterioration, just not enough to cause diseases consistently, reliably and severely.

    Putting phone on with a warm filter doesn't physically remove blue light from the screen, it's an inherent design with LED screen. Using these glasses physically prevents the blue lights from reaching your eyeball.

    Whether of not you find them useful, that's objective. However, dismissing them entirely to be 'scientifically proven to be of no real use' is not correct.

  People are shitting on the brand but I find them to be good quality. I had a few gunner glasses as well and I find the cyxus ones fit better. Whether or not they are worth the price when compared to cheap ebay shit, it's up to you. I think they are.

  FYI, I got charged for $16.44 AUD through paypal.

  I think I paid roughly 50-70 to add it onto my prescription glasses just for use at work. I seem to find it beneficial.

  I'm assuming all the brands are roughly the same
