What's Your Garden Shed Like?

Tin or plastic? Where did you buy it from? Did you assemble it? Cost?

Group is looking to gift a garden shed to new homeowner.

I would suggest a gift card and let the new homeowner decide.

    • Agree - Bunnings gift cards would be well received by most new home owners. They might want to build a new deck or get some outdoor furniture before thinking about a shed.

Colourbond, steel and timber frame, concrete floor, 8 sliding doors, 400m2.

Previous owners built it. I'm guessing $50k+

OP is asking about everyone's garden sheds, not their second home! Which yours, at 400m2, is probably bigger than most people's main home! lol! 🤣

    Don't have one :-(

  • Ours is 3mx4m or thereabouts - colourbond on a concrete pad. We assembled it ourselves - apparently from Chinese cheese. Have had it for about five years now and we need to replace it. The roof has buckled and the doors (which were never very securely attached in the first place) have come off. It still functions as a place to store the ride on mower and some gardening tools, but anything that needs to stay totally dry and secure is stored in the locked store room built in to the design of the house.

  • Made of tin, full of old s**t I don't use anymore and cobwebs too.

  • 15x8 with a mezzanine, car hoist, pool table, and whisk(e)y lounge setup…

ohhh thats what i want, not what i have,

  • 6m x 3m Colorbond from Easyshed.

  • 9m x 6 m with 3mtr double sliding doors, can even open the camper trailer inside the shed without moving the pallet racking.

this one without the sliding doors on the side and without dividing wall in middle.

  • 3m x 0.75m colorbond easyshed. Self assembly. Not overly difficult, but time consuming. Took 2ppl prob 8-10hrs over 2 days. If labour is part of the gift that’d be good. Need right tools too.

I'm not sure, I'll go ask it.

  • Colourbond bought second hand 10 years ago. Still disassembled behind the garage.

  • Metal, 3x3m bought 2nd hand, $60. Had to dismantle, was a rainy day, labelled each panel, then put it back together, probably 5 years ago now.
