Please Recommend 75" TV - Budget $3000

Hi all,

I'm looking to spend approx. $3k for a 75 inch TV.

I've done a search of the forums and the last time this topic came up was about 12 months ago (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/538580). There's also a more recent thread at a 1.5k budget (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/631146).

Is there a generally favoured 75 inch TV at the 3k mark?

Usage: Primarily watching Netflix/Movies, but some occasional gaming.

You haven't explained what your usage needs are, but the Sony X9000H is an excellent all-rounder. 75 inch is under $3k.

Thanks very much for your suggestion, Ron Burgundy.

A friend just bought a 75" X9000H for $2500 in the weekend by just asking for a good price

I own the 65" version and highly recommend this model

    • Thanks. Looks like it can be had for as low as $2300 from an Ozb search. This is actually quite a bit under the budget I had in mind.

Are there any better TVs in the $3500 range, that might come down to $3000 in the coming months, that I should be considering?

      • The X9500H is a step up, but I haven't seen it below $3k.

        • Thanks Ron. Do you know how much of a step up it is? (i.e., would you pay an extra $500-$700 for the X9500H over the X9000H?).

I can get gift cards at 5-7% off through HCF, so with a decent sale or price match, that could bring it closer to around $3.3k.

Edit: found a reddit discussion on X950H vs X900H - are these the same models, or the previous gen?
