Now my heart feel like an ember and it's lighting up the dark
I'll carry these torches for ya that you know I'll never drop, yeah

    • Cheaper one is too dangerous to use.

      • yeah lol 100%

      • lol u p**sy. The ebay ones just bring a little more excitement to the table. You never know if today will be the day it tries to set u on fire.
I had (have…i just bought another, dammit) a $12 ebay one, and after changing the can over, the seal must have degraded just enough that there was a slight leak. Just enough for it to ignite in my hand while using it. Was enough to scare me but was easy to put out thankfully. It was probably only a bit over a year old, and i had just changed over to the third butane can.
I think i might go and grab one of these for peace of mind. I would assume this one would have had to at least pass some form of australian standards :)

  • No stock near me, here is Youtube.

Anyone have this from Supercheap? Alot of the eBay ones aren't made well and break easily after a few uses.

    Use this to aburi sushi

    • I bought it yesterday and made seared kingfish with it today. Worked very well, it has good flame control, from small to full on bonkers

  • Does this attach to the standard/common butane canisters?

    • +1

      Yes, it's about $5 for 4.

  • a Zippo replacement?

This is expensive. I bought one much cheaper from ebay or anaconda think, nothing dangerous about it.
