So this seems to be a pretty common question in threads about the Philips OneBlade "can it be used for shaving the body and/or more sensitive areas?"

This is Philips "official" response - get the OneBlade Body Kit, QP610/80 which includes a replacement blade, a "click-on skin guard for extra protection on sensitive areas" and a 3mm body comb.

I can't really say whether it's a good deal or not, certainly based against the cost of a single blade it's not really that great, but for those who're specifically looking for this application maybe it's the product you've been looking for. Amazon reviews seem pretty happy with it, YMMV. Free international shipping with Prime Day per previously posted deal.

Whipper snippering around the powerpole without a guardis fine. It just oscillates so perfectly safe.

Can confirm not so safe on the scrotum….

      • You're doing it all wrong then. Show that thing who's boss.

    • Honestly that would have been my gut feel as well, I just figured since this particular product exists a deal post might serve as a place to centralise various opinions on the subject. Have seen in other deals where posters have been very much against using it for body/etc purposes (edit: and response above!).

  • So these are accessories? you have to already have or purchase the shaver itself?

    • Yes, this is just a single replacement blade + the 2 attachments. You'd need to already have a OneBlade or OneBlade Pro to use.

  • is this better than using the adjustable trimmer on the pro?

    • I’m sorry, I have no idea. In theory it’s gotta be pretty similar but having used neither I can’t say for certain one way or the other.
