hard to say it is a good deal at $30/TB, just something you can still place order. comparing 8TB expansion priced at ~$300 mark, it is not too bad.
P.S. no idea what will come out after chucking order on amazon au, sold by amazon uk

Was $201.08 a fortnight ago from Amazon with delivery in 7 days.. thanks Chia…

    • when chia crashes, the market should be fair for normal buyers.
the graphic card market shows some signs to come back to normal, hopefully normal price is not too far away

They've almost got pools up and going for Chia, so I'd imagine it might get worse before it gets better as it makes it more viable for smaller players

      • Chia is trading more than 75% below it's ATH, and that's excluding the iniial $2k USD blip.

        • Got in first best served. Every 1 winner there is 500 mug punters.

    • Damn, never even heard of Chia. I have a Plex server with 46TB. Time to wipe that out and start mining? I think I've got about another 40TB also in the house in other drives.

      • You'll need some SSDs to plot at a reasonable rate

I bought this for $189 last year before the Chia coin thing happened!

    • lucky you.
with Chia impact, $240 is somehow a decent price. Not a good deal, just a decent price….

I have been eyeing this for a while. Likely a SMR drive inside: Link 1Link 2
