Why do they even need smr on low density drives? If they can't fit 2tb on a single platter using CMR they're just messing with us
See: https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/seagate-barracuda-8tb-h…
Interestingly, according to that review, it retails for $99.99 USD in the US, meaning it should be selling here for much less than $193.
But profit!

Not really a deal
Going to arrive in a padded mailer. Never buy bare drives from Amazon US.
This one https://www.amazon.com/Western-Digital-WD-Elements-External/… is a very good deal but I can't get it to be valid for purchase from AU (possibly the US plug?). $18.44 per TB. Western Digital 14TB Elements for $258.14
Too bad, it’s a great deal.
Dare I use it in a NAS?
