Received promo email from Oclean just now, the latest model Oclean X Pro Elite is heavily discounted from USD99.99 to USD59.99

Personally have been using one for about a month and 0 compliants to replace my 4 year old Philips Diamondclean, the Android App is not as user friendly as the iOS version but usable and provides sufficient informatics.

    I had two diamond cleans over a 7 year period and then switched to the previous version of this. The brushing is just as good but the battery, charging time, design and charger are all better. So IMHO you get a better toothbrush for a third of the price. It's a no brainer.

    However, I am still waiting for this to arrive for my wife. I ordered it on release day nearly three months ago.

    For me no. Diamond clean is slightly better in every aspect. But not sure if price difference worth it.

  Anyone have experience with the oral irrigator? Is it meant to replace flossing? How do we rate it?

    I don't think so. The water pressure should be kept low so you don't risk damaging your gum. I used to use a Waterpik. It feels kind of nice to squirt water between teeth, sometimes I could smell it too so it seems to do something. But it takes up extra time so I stopped, and I still have good gum/teeth according to HCF. My wife had periodontitis, she felt irrigation made her gums worse.

  I've been using this brush for a couple of weeks and really happy with it so far. It replaced my old Sonicare Diamondclean. I think this cleans better, is so much quieter during operation and I like the LCD screen on the brush. Only gripe so far is setting up preferred brush settings/time through the app, the brush forgets those settings after a few uses. Haven't figured out a way to fix this yet.

  I ordered from Oclean website on 21 June. Hasn't moved since 27 June (it's with PF Logistics in Sydney apparently).
