not a deal, not even close. SGS II is out in the market at least 6 mths ago. If you offered that on a samsung galaxy note,i'll say it's a deal.

Btw, my friend able to bargain with Vodafone on the Galaxy Nexus down to 0 dollar on the $29 cap. He was with Vodafone before though. Not sure whether it makes any difference for new customer.

This isn't really a deal, usually Optus have quite competitive deals. My plan is $59/month for iPhone4 with unlimited SMS/MMS and unlimited calls to Optus Network, 2GB data and $550 calls…

A month ago, I got this phone (Galaxy S2) for $0, on a $49 deal. $750 calls (International inc) sms, mms etc, 1.5gb per month and Yes, I'm with Optus, so why it's gone up? Who knows? No deal, me thinks!

It would be more worth while to get the virgin deal for the S2. It's a min cost of $840 over 24 months vs the min cost $1,416.00 for this optus deal. You can spend alot more on redballon.
