Hi guys, first time posting a deal here. Please use lube in the comment section below :)

I think this is a pretty good deal for a good quality charger. It also ships from Australia so no need to pay for import fees and they also offer free shipping.

    Great Deal and charger

Great charger. Installed one in the console in my couch to add USB charging.

I bought one of these and frankly it was terrible. Couldn't charge more than one device at a time, and the USB-C PD output maxed out at under 40. Also intermittently cut in and out for moments, very erratic. Ended up getting a refund and throwing it away for fear of damaging anything plugged into it.

Do yourselves a favour, get something from a more reputable brand.

What a shame, I never had issues with mine (had it for more than 6 months) and it charges my Macbook and S21 perfectly fine. Perhaps a faulty device? :(

      • Undoubtedly, but I'm not going to risk any of my expensive devices to save 30 bucks on a charger, and I'm definitely not interested in having to deal with banggood's customer support again, it was a damn nightmare.

      • No there is design issues, it cuts power when a new device is plugged in / starts drawing power. I bought two on a previous post and most times this comes up now there is a stream of people with issues.

You might not notice if powering dumb devices but I definitely did because I was powering headphones which cut out every time I plugged something else in.

Yep. Same issues as me. Definitely would not recommend.

    • Any suggestions? I’m keen to get something decent.

  • Does this interrupt charging for everything if you plug in a new device?

    Thanks in advance!

The charging output changes if you plug an additional device. From personal experience I charge my Macbook and Galaxy S21 at the same time and both devices charge at the maximum supported speed. Here's some more info, I hope it helps:

      USB-A3&A4: DC5V?2A

I’ve found with the HeyMix multi port charger when you plug in a cable to one of the other ports it'll change the profile to the combination charging (e.g. 65W USBC -> 45W usbC + 20W usbA) even when there’s no 2nd device being charged.

And whenever you connect a device it stops charging all ports to switch over to the different profile. So say you’d plug in an iPhone when your MacBooks already charging, the MacBook stops charging before both start charging together.

Was just trying to figure out if this would do the same.

        • When I charge my 2nd device and the 1st device stops charging I just re-plug it in and both devices charges fine. I'm not an expert but I think that's probably the "protection" feature kicking in?

        • +1

Yes it has that issue. Don’t buy this if you’re using it with something that requires constant power or if you get annoyed when everything plugged in tells you it’s charging again when you plug something else in etc.

I am unable to charge both my iPad Pro and iPhone at the same time via the USB-C/PD ports. When I plug the second device in, the first will stop charging. Very annoying.

      • -1

Did you try to re-plug the 1st device after plugging in the 2nd device?

        • +3

but, that is not a long term solution

  • +1

I bought a blitzwolf usb charger and the ports stopped charging after a month or two. Not this model though.

  • +2

Still have it no problem so far.

  • Have had mine for more than a year. One of the best investments. Gonna buy another

  • +1

I don't get why people rave about Blitzwolf here. Bought one of their multiport chargers and it last a couple months and then ports just cut out and die randomly. For the price paid I expected a lot better. Maybe I was just unlucky, but I'll never buy another one again.

    • Did you email them? Or create a ticket?

      • No, because going through all that for the possibility (no promise) of a $50 charger being replaced isn't worth my time or frustration.
Sometimes its best to just walk away, but learn from your mistake. And let others know of your mistake so perhaps they learn from it too.

        • So you have tried before and Banggood didn't response you?
