Has anyone had Good Guys Online (not in store) price match TGG Commercial?
I know instore will in many occasions, but I’m curious if anyone has gotten the regular online store to match the commercial one.
I have access to the Commercial site, so no drama there, but the regular site does 5% cash back via Cashrewards so would like to magically combine the best of both worlds.
I am thinking the same - TGGO and TGGC are not competitors, they will just tell you to buy it from either shop, as they win either way.

Been asked before, it is hit and miss but mostly know as they are price matching themselves basically. The question is, why don't you just order from the Commercial website?

Do you mean when you call the online sales number? I called recently and was told they're not supposed to do it but the nice guy did it anyway. However, they send a link to your mobile/email to pay so you won't be able to get cashback if that's what you're trying to do. You can pay via gift cards though which is usually 5% off.
No, you can’t pay for commercial using gift cards (again, last time I purchased from commercial)

Online you're restricted to two gift cards I think.
Yeah it's just a payment screen so you won't be able to get cashback via cashrewards which requires you to click on their specific link (that's my understanding). I've only bought items under $1000 so I'm not sure how many gift cards are allowed..
No, commercial V's consumer sales and never the twain shall meet, unless you get someone at the store who needs to meet their monthly sales target and needs the sale to meet it.

My guess is their answer will be just buy it on the TGG Commercial site, because it probably stops people who aren't entitled to shop on the Commercial site getting that price.
It would be like Apple price matching the education store to which they would say, checkout on the education store.
