    Have you tried downloading the app 'rapid ring'?
    It runs alongside the normal ring app and is a lot quicker to get into the door bell.

  I have had one of these for around 4 years now and its really showing its age. Lag, poor video quality, poor speaker. It was good for its time, but there are much better options in the market now.

  Just purchased a Google Nest Hello as an upgrade, mainly for continuous recording, facial recognition, and the ability to hardwire in a mechanical chime.
