Any Good Deals for Heat Pump Dryers?

Hi all

I’ve actively been looking for heat-pump dryers because of winters and been refreshing ebay/ Good guys pages daily as I am down to these two options;

Esatto 7KG heat pump from Appliance centre Ebay
Solt 7KG heat pump from TGG Ebay

These have been down to sub 500 in past with 20% off codes. Should I pull the trigger or wait few days? I do have TGG commercial membership that brings Solt down to $626, but still bit more that what these have been in the past.
Thanks

  • I am in the exact same situation. I have also short listed these two and another one. Inalto which is sold on Bing Lee. It’s same as Esatto. I wasn’t aware GGC have Solt at $626. Solt has some decent feedbacks too and looks a bit better with its LCD display. All the best mate. Hope we find something close to 500ish soon.

    I cant speak for the cheaper stuff, but I have a Bosch heat pump dryer and its amazing.

  • I bought the aldi 7kg Stirling heat pump dryer a while back on clearance for $399. it is identical to the esatto one (rebadge job) and has been great. Maybe check your local aldi for clearance specials.

    btw: I put a power meter on it and it uses between 7.5-10 cents of power to run it per hour, so pretty cheap to run.

  • Thanks all for your comments, keep hunting and share if some good deals found.

    • So which one did you go with and reviews please? Thanks in Advance!

    I've had good success over the years with a solar clothes dryer. Cheap to run too.

    • As long as you don't need to pay for all that hydrogen, yes.

  • Literally just ordered the esatto yesterday, after waiting a while. Another option, which is a bit more expensive, is the 8kg Electrolux one, currently $990 at jb hifi, $1300 at tgg. With gift cards I figured I'd rather pay $200ish extra for 1 kg extra load and a 'better' brand. However no jb hifi near me has it or is expecting stock.
