Sydney Tools is running a promotion right now where you get up to 20% store credit when you spend at least $250. If you buy this grinder kit for $249, you can get $50 store credit if you also buy another Dewalt product in the same transaction.

This grinder kit has been on sale before but the sweetener is the store credit.

In my case, I purchased this grinder, and a tape measure for 14.95. Total was $262.95, + $50 store credit to use in future.

    I purchased a Dewalt DCK341T1 3 piece kit, which includes:

    Hammer/Drill/Driver DCD996,
    Impact Driver 1/4inch DCF887N,
    125mm Angle Grinder DCG406,
    6AH Battery,
    Dewalt Battery Charger DCB115

    for only $250 almost 2 years ago. This deal seems pretty poor in comparison.

    The profit margin in these cordless tools must be big. Just Look at the recent Bunnings 2 piece DeWalt plus bonus angle grinder @ $415.00 being at least $240.00 cheaper than all the main tool players (pity no stores had stock).

    Don't mention the battery prices once you are locked into a brands eco system.

    All the tool companies have been doing It for the last few weeks
    Best deal is to use the bonus cash on the same brand of products to give you the 15, 16 or 20% of that brand as they only go on discount at this time of year.
    If you buy their store branded products they are over inflated giving you no real discount.
    I haven't looked at the dewalt deal but all the others seem to be 20% of at $2000 spend and dropping from there.

      Maybe try calling the store and see if they will do anything. Sydney tools are good for some things but I don't think they will do anything because it wasn't purchased at time of sale….

        $250 was already a pretty good deal (believe till stocks last…total tools had same deal but sold out almost instantly)
        Normally about that just for the skin
