Mint pizza pan from Woolies for $4. Same thing

Completely different. Not the same thing at all.

This guy doesn't know material science

The thin Woolies pizza pans are terrible. Moving to a ceramic stone one was a massive improvement for me.
No doubt these cast iron pans would be a huge improvement also.

I haven't used this one, but cooking pizza on a cast iron skillet or fajita pan is great. You can proof the dough on the pan, stick it on the stove top on medium high to crisp up the bottom and then under a grill to do the top. Not the traditional way at all, but then again I don't have a 500 degree oven, so I'll take a good pizza done any way I can.

  • How does this compare to a pizza stone?

I just found this article it might be helpful for you

    • We tried a lot of different surfaces for cooking pizza. Best thing in a domestic oven so far is a Bessemer roasting pan. Conducts the heat well and no need to crisp the bottom. Have tried all sorts of trays and pizza stones. Bessemer wins hands down plus you can use it for the Sunday roast as well.

    Good for pancakes?

Out of stock … probably had 1 🤔

Would be good for bulk frying eggs of pancakes. I have a 12" skillet and 14" would be great. I found that my 10" skillet was only big enough to cook for 2 people at a time

    • Only problem is cast iron doesn't conduct heat very well so need to have an even heat source.
