Armaf Club De Nuit Intense Man Eau De Toilette 105ml $39.99 (Was $59.99) + Shipping ($0 C&C/ $50 Order) @ Chemist Warehouse

160

On sale as part of current catalogue.

Excellent fragrance and honestly a no brainer for the price as a blind buy. Comments say it's a Creed Aventus clone and whilst I can't comment to the match, on its own merits great addition to any collection.

This is awful stuff. I own Aventus too, and this is nothing like it.

Yes, I don't know why people call this a replica of Aventus.

I have both and disagree. it definitely smells similar, not identical, but this is my go to fragrance and I've never NOT been complimented with it. Early 20s male though, so perhaps it doesn't suit all ages.

      • Compliments are pretty much a myth. Most of the people saying they receive compliments they simply ask around 'do you like my perfume?' and consider a 'yes' as a compliment.

Fair point, but I’ve never ever asked if they like it. Usually I go clubbing or ‘hang’ out with a girl and it’s mentioned a fair few times..

I own creed Aventus & this .. and this is as close as you’ll get

It’s quite strong on first spray, but I’m ALWAYS getting compliments when I wear this

Good for the gym or to the store ..

For $39; this is a no brainer

    Purchased another bottle.

    • Agree, it's a synthetic opening but completely loses that after 5/10 minutes, wouldn't expect a perfect match for the price. Interested in other general recommendations around the price point though (Tom Ford clones or a spring/summer scent to add to the collection), have seen a clone house called Oakcha that seems to be getting good reviews if anyone has experience

      • I love clones too but they don't give us the same confidence the originals do.

        • I use the term 'clones' and 'inspired by/similar' interchangeably tbh, never expect a perfect match, just after a good scent that won't break the bank

I had multiple negative comments. It is a very strong, harsh and synthetic smelling fragrance, and a regretful purchase.

  • I liked this post because it's a good deal. However, I also feel it's my civic duty to warn that this smell is soooo strong, basic and annoying now!!

Going with a blind buy, fingers crossed!

  • This stuff is the shiz

  • Not much stock arond :(

  • Thanks, I've been wanting to try this.

Have to disagree with the compliments piece - mine smells like chemical orange, I only got nasty comments on the first week I tried it so ended up dumping the bottle. Maybe I got a dud

    • You probably sprayed too much.

      • 1 pump only

        • That's what she said…

  • You can feel the pain of people that coughed up $400 for the original. The dry down, the part that lasts more, is identical to Aventus.

    • Spoken like someone who has never used both.

      • I feel you man. $400 cough cough 🤣

  • My wife likes it, so it's a thumbs up from me.

  • At this price, it's worth a punt
Couldn't justify paying for the Creed (as nice as it is)

Copying a previous comment I made on the comparison between this and Aventus:

I've got samples of both this and Aventus on me right now - I'd say the Armaf is maybe 80% as good as Aventus. It smells maybe 90% similar after 30 mins or so, but the first spray smells a little more artificial than the real deal.

If you're looking for something to wear day-to-day, I'd say go the Armaf hands-down - but for special occasions or if you've got too much money, reach for the Aventus.

Side note - the only people who will be able to tell the difference are other fragrance snobs, almost everyone else won't notice the difference in passing.

  • Maybe I got a dud but I thought the smell was terrible and no where near aventus. The closest I think is the mont Blanc explorer

  • At this stage the only thing I am sniffing is my breath under the mask
