Dell XPS 13 9305 White Colour Is Faded

Hi All,

Recently purchased Dell XPS 13 9305 after reading so many good reviews. It is the FHD model, Screen is sharp and clear but white colour is very faded/yellowish. Anyone else has experience this ?

    Do you mean the display is yellowish? Windows has a night setting that might be causing this.

    Xps and old latitude 5400.
    White is very yellowish/offwhite.
    Sleep mode is off. Colour profile is rgb.

      Sleep mode is different from night light. Click on the notification centre and check if night light is off.

    go to search in task bar , go to advanced then go down the list you will find calibrate display , proceed with the steps till you find 3 color bars red , green and blue , reduce the red and green equally till the yellow tint is removed. and this is how to solve the yellowish tint problem.

      Just another question though:
      As per the specifications, this model is HDR compatible.
      But under settings>system>display>windows hdr colour settings: Use HDR is set to "NO" and I can't enable it.

      Atm, it appears like this :

      Display capabilities:
      Stream HDR video : Yes
      Use HDR : No
      Use WCG apps : No

          Tried both. On battery and plugged in as well.

            @solidsnake1291: Hmmmm. All I can think of is that you may need other dell software to be installed to enable it like dell cinema or something.

              @Muzeeb: I have dell cinema installed but it only has presets which can be selected. It doesn't enable the HDR
