Smile.com.au + Teacher Health Fund = Cheaper Root Canal Treatment?

Hi,

Happy school holidays.

I am a current Teachers Health Fund member.

Anyone know anything about this service? https://www.smile.com.au/health-funds/teachershealthfund

Does it actually makes things cheaper vs not having it? eg: for a root canal treatment?

I am based in Sydney, NSW if this helps.

Actually smile can't tell OPs much.

OP: Call to your dentist to get two quotes (smile and non smilen price) and the ADI number of the treatment.

Then contact your health fund to find out the rebate for that ADI number through your Extra plan.

  • My fund is connected but it is free. Smiles will reduce the cost and eliminate the gap between the 65% health fund pays.

In your link it looks like that you need to join in addition. Not all dentists give the same discounts, you need to call up and check.
