Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 128GB $699 (4G) / $799 (5G) @ JB Hi-Fi / Samsung Store

110

The prices have dropped from $849 to $699 for the 4g VMs from $999 to $799 for 5g, possibly to clear stock in time for S21 FE launch. Likely to be single sim due the 4g, not the dual sim, though the website doesn't state any info.

Even if missing out on the EPP deal or the $50 Samsung voucher (for the lucky few), this is good.

S21 FE rumoured launch August 19 but some reports say October.

Same price on the Samsung store too:

If buying the 4G model, ensure you get the 2021 version. It's the same price and has a Snapdragon processor.

All Australian variants are single SIM.

Baffled why Australian models don't embed Dual physical sims into their phones? It's especially ideal for travels overseas without swapping out your original sim.

      Travels…good times

    $695/$795 at Officeworks/Amazon.

They are $699/$799 at Samsung themselves as well, you should be able to get it for $649/$749 with a $50 signup voucher or request one here.

    • Cheers, added to the description

Did a price match few days back and got 5g for 697.

  • Dual sim ?

    • Unlikely, as one of the comments says all Australian versions are single sim.

  • Seen this was advertised $1000 I asked the question seen it for $799 about two weeks ago. They honoured it They must have known it was going to go back on sale.. I had a $600 gc handy.. so went bang grabbed it. So far it's a great phone.

Upgraded from an S8.. my only thing is finding a good phone cover with grip. I'm used to otterbox defenders I work in dusty environment etc.. but only managed to grab a otterbox symmetry.. but it's not the same :/

This has been 799 for the past year

  • Do the S20FE's still have the issue with the touch screen not responding?

    • +2

No issues with mine, which is the 5g snapdragon model

      • Ah that's good to see, thanks for the update. How's your overall experience e.g. (Battery/Camera/Performance) with the S20 FE so far? Really considering of getting one, now that price has dropped so much now.

        • Yeah no worries. It's an Awesome phone I've had my eye on it for a while. Also liked the release of the Asus zenfone 8 but I prefer having a Sd card option. I was going to get the note 20ultra but can't see the point of spending $1500

Battery's good lasts a full day. Browsing watching abit of fb, yt etc..

cameras pretty nice I haven't taken many pictures though.

videos really good i can't complain..

I mean comparing it to the Samsung s8 it's alot better. Overall being a few generations newer….

I like the display 120hz and the smoothness fingerprint sensor on the front is cool. phone is very quick with response.

I guess it depends on your views and what phone your upgrading from.

          Cheers

agree with pudding, heard about the screen issue after i bought the phone during the government discount poster here before and got worried. I play a few games on my phone and have never had an issue using multi point touching all the time. battery is what you'd expect and performance these phones had basically flagship specs for a fraction of the price, only thing lesser would be the camera set up, although that's comparing it to 5 camera's and extra sensors, the camera I've found is good for my purposes.

  • Does anyone know JB still selling telstra nbn?

  • The 5G has been as low as $599 in recent months

was waiting for $650, but now looking at the S21 ultra 5G, but not sure if there are too many issues with that, such as overheating. Want a good camera.

  • Same price at Harvey Norman.

  • You can get the 4g models for $664.05 using the coupon code "925FIVEOFFJULY" at the moment :)

    • where do you use this voucher at JB or another site?

      • At JB.

Edit: The code was just for the weekend. I'm pretty sure it ended.

  • Did this come with a screen protector?

    • S20FE comes with a factory screen protector applied.
