You could always do a Cliff Young (in reverse): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cliff_Young_(athlete)

"In 1983, the 61-year-old potato farmer won the first Westfield Sydney to Melbourne Ultra Marathon (875 kilometres, 544 miles). The race was run between what were then Australia's two largest shopping centres: Westfield Parramatta, in Sydney, and Westfield Doncaster, in Melbourne.[4] Cliff arrived at the start line with overalls and gumboots. He ran at a slow loping pace and trailed the leaders for most of the course, but by denying himself sleep and running while the others slept, he slowly gained on them and eventually won by a large margin."

      • In gumboots…. what a man! I can run that distance…. but it takes about 10 months lol

  • Brilliant. Just ducked in when I went out for my coffee.

Only got a handful of each book and none of The Wind-up Bird Chronicle, which was what I wanted.

    • what do you mean you got a handful of each book? … are you allowed to get more than 1 book?

  • The books listed are the entire rainbow collection, but only selected titles are part of this deal. It says it on the voucher. Wind-up Bird Chronicle was never part of it. See the titles behind the cashier counter but be quick as most of the people in my queue had this voucher in their hand. They have already ran out of some books (Time Traveler's Wife). I got Atonement.

    • Aw, that's a bit crap. The Wind-up Bird Chronicle was the only book I wanted to get :(

  • Is there a limit? Cause I want to print enough to get all the books , these offers normally restock after a few days, if they're out, just try next week, since offer lasts for a month anyway.

  • Link doesn't work anymore
    :(
Was looking forward to the Curious incident of the Dog in The Night-Time- one of my all time faves

  • These aren't all "classic" as defined by most book sellers! Some of the ones I recognise are reasonably recent/still in copyright (had to amend what I was saying when I saw "The woman in white". Oops - it's "The woman in black":(.

If you can, get The Handmaid's Tale. Margaret Atwood is an incredible writer.

But the link doens't work :(

  • As of about 5 this afternoon, the following books were no longer available

    The Wind-up Bird Chronicle
Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time
    The Time Traveler's Wife
    Midnight's Children

    • As of this morning, most of the titles are no longer available, but there are plenty of the ones that still are available. Almost all don't have copies on the shelves though, they are all behind the counter.

Can anyone upload the voucher? The link on their page doesn't work, but there may be free books left…

    • Just called them and was told that the deal is still on and there are plenty of books left. I told them I wasn't able to download the coupon. The guy said I need that coupon to claim a free book and he doesn't work in I.T. so can't help with the getting me a coupon!

Anyone able to upload the coupon?

  • I would have to buy a printer just to print this out. What is it with people and requiring physical vouchers? What is this, 1970?

    I uploaded the copy I downloaded :)
