New Android Phone: Makes Calls but No Internet

Hey guys

Just got my mum a $150 Nokia phone to use with the covid safe app.

We took the Telstra Sim out of her old iPhone 5 and the new phone can make and receive calls but no mobile internet.

Airplane mode is off. I looked at another working Nokia and the settings all appear the same apart from the provider network name (mines with Optus)

Thoughts?

Make sure mobile data is turned on in settings.
I'm assuming there's a mobile data allowance on your plan (if it was working on old iphone)

Check to ensure your APN is correcntly configured.

Yeah the data's turned on. I am double checking her Telstra plan tho. She's only ever used it for calls

is the new phone either a Telstra phone (locked to telstra) or an Unlocked phone? If its locked to another carrier it wont connect

Thanks all, was the apn settings. I changed ipv4 to ipv4/6 in a couple of the boxes. Working fine now
