      No. Any model with a number 1000 or higher has the better motor that is more effective in plaque removal.

          Yeah it’s not easy to find but there is a table of comparison somewhere that shows the difference number of oscillations between models.

        As you move up the Oral-B range, the brushes become more expensive, but they do come with additional features and accessories. We regard these as “nice-to-have” rather than essential. Spending more or picking a premium model does not necessarily result in a better clean of the teeth

    Recently bought the basic one on special at WW for $22.5. if teeth cleaning and plaque removal are similar then I don't think the extended battery life and other features are worth over a $100. YMMV

    If you’re buying as a couple, just get one of these on special and then use different heads for each person. Really don’t see the point in having two units such a waste

      My thoughts exactly.

      In less wealthy countries these are sold with charging bases that can also store multiple heads for the whole family. Makes more sense.

      The suggestion that each fam member has to have their own motor is just to make you buy more.
